Meal planning is so popular today. You’ll find posts about meal planning all over the net and social media. There are countless numbers of meal planning worksheets, calendars, etc. available, from free to paid.
I love planning my menu for the week. However, it doesn’t always work out these days at my house. At times, its hard to plan a menu for a household of 8, when there are dieters, picky eaters, non-eaters, over-eaters, etc!
So, to plan or not to plan…….That is the question.
While I like meal planning, I am not the cook at home everyday. My mom cooks mostly during the weekdays. I cook on the weekends, and on the weekdays when I am off of work (which is seldom). My mom is quite old fashion and from the south so her meals are very traditional and meal planning is not quite “her thing”!
I did a few menu plan Mondays when I first started this blog. At that time, I was working a different schedule and I was cooking more. With the re- launch of the blog, I will be doing away with the menu plans but I will have several other food posts. Stay tuned!
